Natee Thongdee, admitted in 1972 in Thailand, received his LL.B. from
Chulalongkorn University, Thailand in 1969, Barrister-at-Law certificate
from Thai Bar Association in 1970 and LL.M. from Temple University, USA
in 1980. He was a Lecturer and Assistant Professor of Corporations and
Contracts at Chulalongkorn University from 1977 to 1987. He was also Tax
& Corporate Manager at KPMG Peat Marwick, Bangkok in 1988. He is
fluent in Thai and English. Natee’s areas of practice are corporations,
leases, employment, real estate, taxation, immigration, arbitration and
litigation.
Natee has run Natee International Law Office Ltd. (NILO) with 14 lawyers
since 1989. NILO had assisted CAT Telecom Plc. with contracts,
telecommunications, and tax matters from April 1 2006 up to August 31
2008. The firm has been a legal counsellor to McCormick (Thailand) Ltd.
since May 1 1995, and had assisted several companies such as Dell
Corporation (Thailand) Co., Ltd. with corporate, employment, lease,
contract and tax matters. NILO was successful in representation of
Electricity Generating Plc. and its subsidiaries in a construction
litigation claim of US$1 million and an arbitration claim of US$750,000
against rice mill owners. NILO also concluded a successful defence for
Thai Nippon Road Ltd. in a US$5 million litigation claim, and a
successful US$1 million litigation claim for the same company. In
addition, NILO has represented Albedo Ltd. and its subsidiary about 47
litigation lawsuits since August 1 2008.
