With over 30 years of experience in transnational legal practice
encompassing international investments, mergers and acquisitions,
financing, joint venture, technology licencing, franchising, private
equity investment and other corporate transactions, with special
emphasis on insurance and other financial services industries. He has
achieved a preeminent position in the insurance practice having
represented most of the multinational insurers and reinsurers operating
in Taiwan and the Insurance Committee of the American Chamber of
Commerce in Taipei. He is a member of the New York and Taipei Bar and
served as adviser to various government agencies assisting in drafting
various laws and regulations including Trade Act, Mass Rapid Transit
Act, Labor Pension Act, Insurance Law Amendments and their implementing
regulations. He was professor of law, National Chung Hsing University
1977-1986.
