Hee Woong Yoon, a partner at Yulchon, primarily practices in the areas
of banking and finance, M&A, securities and foreign investment law.
Before joining Yulchon, Mr Yoon was a partner with Yoon & Partners.
Mr Yoon has published “Legal Issues Arising from Private Equity Funds as
a Partnership (Hap-ja-hoesa) under the Korean Commercial Code” for the
BFL and “Study on Non-Statutory Securitization as a Method for
Overcoming the Limitation of Securitization under the Law Concerning
Asset Backed Securitization” for Study of the Securities Act. He also
wrote “The Effectiveness of Non-documentary Conditions in the Letter of
Credit” for his George Washington University Law School LL.M. thesis.
Mr Yoon was previously a lecturer for the Judicial Research and Training
Institute from 1998-2000. He has also been selected as one of the
World’s Leading Capital Markets Lawyers by Legal Media Group.
Mr Yoon is a graduate of Seoul National University, College of Law
(LL.B., 1987). He also holds an LL.M. from Seoul National University,
Graduate School of Law (1989) and an LL.M. from the George Washington
University School of Law (1997).
