Mr Wang is one of the group executive partners of Grandall Law Firm, and
currently is the managing partner of Grandall’s Beijing Office. Mr Wang
graduated from the Chinese People’s Public Security University in 1991
with an LL.B; he obtained his LL.M from the University of Minnesota, USA
in 2000. Additionally, he obtained the Training Certificate for BOT
Projects awarded by the Asian Development Bank.
Mr. Wang has been practicing law for over 18 years. He has accumulated
significant experience in the areas of power, energy and infrastructure,
securities, fund management, domestic and overseas financing, inbound
and outbound foreign investments, overseas IPO’s and M&A.
Mr Wang sits in the Council of the Beijing Lawyers Association; he now
holds the position of Head of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the BLA;
he is also a council member of the Energy & Natural Resources Law
Committee of the International Bar Association; Director of the Chinese
Society of International Law; Arbitrator at the China International
Economic and Trade Arbitration Association; Conciliator at the
Conciliation Center of ICC China; consultant expert at the People’s
Congress of Beijing; member of the Legal Working Group on the
Environment for the Beijing Olympic Games; bidding evaluation expert of
the Beijing Government; legal consultant of the People’s Government of
Daxing District, Beijing; legal expert of the Second Office for the
Beijing Olympic Games; as well as a foreign member of the American Bar
Association.
