Wei Kwang heads the Employment Practice Group of Wong & Partners.
He is also active in mergers and acquisitions and general commercial
matters.
He has advised and represented clients on a wide range of issues
relating to employment and labour law, including employment contracts,
compensation, workforce reductions, performance management / misconduct
terminations, mutually negotiated exits, industrial relations, dual
employment, regulatory employee stock option compliance, restraint of
trade, confidentiality, data privacy and employer reporting/compliance
requirements.
Wei Kwang has advised extensively on employee migration and legal risk
management issues arising from mergers and acquisitions and outsourcing
transactions. He also advises on Malaysian immigration issues and is a
regular speaker at external and regional employment law and HR
conferences.
Wei Kwang has been named a Leading Lawyer in Employment (2009, 2010
& 2011) by Asialaw and an Up-and-Coming lawyer by Chambers Asia
2010. He has also been noted for his “
