Brian Chia heads the Corporate & Commercial practice group. He
focuses on mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, and
corporate restructurings and reorganisations.
He has represented a large number of leading multinationals, foreign as
well as domestic, on both inward and outward bound transactions and has
co-ordinated multi-jurisdictional transactions through mergers and
acquisitions, joint ventures and other strategic alliances.
In its 2010 edition, Chambers Asia quoted clients as saying of Brian that “

He was named a leading lawyer for Mergers & Acquisitions by IFLR

Brian holds a B.Sc, LLB and a MSC (awarded with distinction) in Finance.
He was admitted as a Barrister in England and Wales in 1990, called to
the Bar of Malaysia in 1991 and the Singapore Bar in 1997.
