A qualified solicitor in India and also in England and Wales, Abhijit
Joshi has been practicing law for over 15 years. Currently a partner
with AZB & Partners, in Mumbai, India, Abhijit has extensive
experience in various fields of law including Mergers &
Acquisitions, Joint Ventures, Competition, Funds and Litigation and
Dispute Resolution.
Abhijit has advised numerous clients on deals relating to mergers and
demergers, amalgamations and reconstructions, domestic as well as
cross-border mergers and acquisitions both inbound and outbound. He has
extensive experience in corporate and foreign exchange related advisory
work, regulatory compliances and stamp duty issues. Telecommunications
is in an area of expertise for Abhijit and he has advised various
telecommunication companies in relation to acquisition, divestment and
financing transactions and has been involved in many major and cutting
edge mergers & acquisitions transactions in the telecommunications
sector in India.

International Bar Association’s Antitrust Section as well as a member of
