Mr Han graduated with an LLB from East China University of Political Science and Law, and undertook post-graduate studies in international law at Fudan University Law School. In 1998, he co-founded Llinks Law Offices. Mr Han has over 18 years practice experience in asset management, capital markets, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, restructuring and private equity/venture capital.

In the areas of investment funds, he has represented many local and foreign financial institutions in setting up 10 joint venture fund management companies, and he has provided legal services to more than 50 securities investment funds in their public fund raising, including China’s first open-end fund, the first index-linked fund and the first money market fund. In the areas of capital markets and corporate finance, he has acted as the legal consultant to issuers, or international and domestic underwriters, and has advised on the floatation of more than 70 companies on domestic and overseas exchanges. In the areas of mergers and acquisitions, he has advised on a number of deals between multinational companies, foreign invested companies and domestic enterprises.

From January 2005 to April 2007, Mr Han served as a committee member at the Seventh and Eighth Review Committee for the Offering of Equities at the China Securities Regulatory Commission. From 2005 to 2009, he was engaged by the Ministry of Labour and Social Security, PRC to serve as first and second appraisal committee member for the corporate annuity fund (China’s corporate pension fund scheme)
