Founding partner Rui Jose da Cunha’s deep litigation and corporate experience has been a keystone of the firm, which now houses nearly 30 lawyers and advises on a range of transactions. Key areas of law covered include corporate, finance, dispute resolution and labour and employment matters.
Partner Zhao Lu leads the intellectual property and information technology practice at C&C Lawyers, which has a particular prowess in representing mainland Chinese clients on IP issues. In his work with PRC clients, Lu has advised on major international IPOs and worked on reorganisations. Lu also leads the firm’s notary practice where he has acted as a signature witness in landmark real estate transactions. Partner Alvaro Rodrigues heads the firm’s litigation practice while partner Nuno Sardinha da Mata supervises the corporate practice.
