Mr. Amarjit Singh, founder of the firm, who has completed 36 years of practice, is a visiting faculty to the Institute of Intellectual Property Studies, Academy of Intellectual Property Studies and Patent Gurukul. These institutions impart diploma courses on Patent and other Intellectual Property laws.
Mr. Amarjit Singh is also the Vice-Chairman of Global Anti-Counterfeiting Group, Secretary-General of Anti-Counterfeiting Group of India, International Vice President of Asian Patent Attorneys Association and Secretary of International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property Rights (AIPPI-Indian Group).
AREAS OF PRACTICE
The Firm’s Practice area includes Trademarks, Copyright, Industrial Design, Patents, Domain Names and Internet Laws and is handling the most contentious cases. The firm has also handled and is handling the most contentious litigations for the enforcement of such rights.
The firm has handled various joint venture negotiations/agreements on behalf of Foreign/Indian companies including an Airline Project. Major areas of practice include joint ventures, foreign collaborations, corporate strategies, formation of companies, various government registrations/clearance and miscellaneous government liaison.
The firm has been active in Intellectual Property Licensing for various FMCG industry houses in different parts of the world.
The firm has been active in enforcing Custom and Border Measures in India and in other parts of the world. Apart from this, the firm has been maintaining Intellectual Property Portfolios of its Indian and International Clients. The business of the firm is expanded in more than 120 countries around the globe.
