The acquisition cemented the client’s position in the healthcare market and the deal was completed in November 2010 with a value of US$2.69 billion. One competitor says: “The work it does is remarkable.” A high profile matter last year was defending client Measat Broadcast Network Systems in alleged breaches of confidence in a tender bidding process. This case was valued at RM1.3 billion (US$435 million).
