China Tontine Wines Group has successfully listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange main board, raising HK$517 million (US$66.3 million) in its initial public offering.
Tontine grows grapes near Ji’An City, Jilin province, and produces 18 types of sweet and dry wine sold under the Tongtian and Tongtian Hong labels in mainland China. It is one of the largest wine producers in China. The funds will be used to finance the expansion of Tontine’s production and distribution network and help increase its market share.
