Two new China partners for Clifford Chance

Clifford Chance has elected two of its senior PRC lawyers to the partnership.

Terence Foo, a private equity and corporate specialist, and TieCheng Yang, who specialises in financial regulatory matters, were promoted. Both lawyers are based in Beijing.

Foo was admitted in Singapore in 1999 and England and Wales in 2001. He joined Clifford Chance in 1999 and moved Shanghai for three years starting in 2003. He has extensive experience in M&A and private equity transactions in Greater China.

Yang was admitted to the PRC bar in 1994 and joined the firm in 2001. He has more than 14 years’ China-related financial and legal experience.

Seventeen Clifford Chance lawyers were promoted to the partnership worldwide this year, with effect from August 1.
